CHN faculty member Michael Ellenbecker, Professor in the Department of Work Environment and Director of the Toxics use Reduction Institute at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, discussed his work for CHN and NIOSH to develop Best Practices for working with nanoparticles at the 2nd Annual Massachusetts Nanotechnology Workshop. Dr. Ellenbecker and Dr. Candace Tsai, postdoc, also demonstrated the latest in nanoparticle exposure assessment instrumentation.

“The Scientist,” a PBS television show (part of the Quest PBS TV series) produced by Anita Clearfield of Maine PBS for ME, NH, and VM PBS stations. The show highlights The Nano Group (Glen Miller, Jerome Claverie, Kartsen Pohl, James Harper) activities at UNH. It aired originally on ME PBS followed by NH and VM PBS station. The show was subsequently distributed to New England K-12 teachers for use in their classrooms.
